Sativa was selected to participate to the contest “Geneva, cities and fields.” The city decide to create a garden festival to initiate a reflection on the new relationships between Geneva and its peripheral agriculture. The gardens will be displayed from the city doors to the fields.
Sativa saw in this idea the legendary soup of Kappel event, which is also historical and legendary. Two armies, one from the mountains and the other one coming from the plains, rather than confront, shared their foods, ones giving the milk and the others the bread, mixed in a soup.
The project offers a space available for all kind of exchanges between the people of the city, from the suburbs and from rural areas. You will find successively a market, a traveling cinema, a food truck, a dancing …
It is a modern platform, adapting to the uses who can appears, a space capable of transforming and welcoming.
